At Branford Professional Fire Fighters Local 2533, our mission with Mullets for Mutts is to enhance the well-being and training of service and therapy dogs that support first responders. Mullets for Mutts organizes annual fundraising events where community members get involved by donning mullet hairstyles, savoring local food and entertainment, and taking part in silent auctions. These events are crafted to entertain and inform attendees about the vital role of service and therapy dogs. We raise funds through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and merchandise, all dedicated to improving the training and care of these essential canine companions. Our events also feature auctions, raffles, and various community-driven campaigns to maximize our fundraising impact. 

The Mullets for Mutts fundraiser is held annually at Stony Creek Brewery in Branford, CT, transforming the brewery into a lively hub of community spirit and support. Set against the backdrop of Stony Creek’s vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, the event features a variety of activities including delicious local food, and live entertainment. Guests can enjoy craft beers from the brewery while participating in silent auctions, raffles, and other fun activities. This lively event not only provides an enjoyable experience but also raises critical funds to support the training and care of service and therapy dogs working with first responders.
